About Us
At The Ephemeral Hours, we craft keepsake journals designed to capture life’s most meaningful moments. Founded with a deep love for nostalgia and reflection, our mission is to empower you to preserve memories that matter and create time capsules for every season of life.
Our journals are more than just pages; they’re a space for self-care, personal growth, and deeper connection. Whether it’s a child’s first day of school or a quiet moment of introspection, we help you document the experiences that shape you.
Rooted in the belief that even the smallest moments hold profound meaning, we invite you to slow down, reflect, and cherish the stories that make up your life’s journey. Every product is thoughtfully designed to encourage mindfulness and intentional living, so you can celebrate the magic of now while preserving memories for the future.

A Love Note From Our Founder
I am an obscenely sentimental person - I kept all the notes my friends passed me in high school, the ticket stub from the first movie I saw with my husband (who was not my husband at the time) and kept detailed journals and random momentos from my travels in my teens and early 20's. My babies have up to date baby books (obviously) and there is absolutely zero chance I will ever let go of my wedding dress. I have also been obsessed with stationery for as long as I can remember, so the fact that I have combined stationery with sentimentality by founding The Ephemeral Hours has come as no surprise for those who love me, but the true inspiration behind TEH goes a little deeper than that...
In 2020 I fell pregnant with my second baby and crawled through the pregnancy and first two years of his life with perinatal depression and anxiety. It wasn’t until I worked with some amazing people and really started focussing on self-love, self-care and deep self-enquiry that the fog lifted and I was able to feel the joy that I not only craved, but now know I deserved.
With this experience under my belt, I designed our core product, For My Baby, with not just nostalgia in mind, but growth and connection too. I have come across some beautiful baby books in my time, but I really wanted to create one that had space for the mum to share her experience. I wanted mums to know that relationships will change and that is normal. That rest is necessary and important. That they might lose their old self but the new version is just as brilliant and loveable as they were before. I have been able to do this through the addition of our journal prompts and hope that this can help guide our customers toward greater fulfilment, purpose and a life where they are able to fully appreciate and enjoy the little moments (and have them beautifully documented to look back on too).
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here.
Marnie xx
